Salsa Chicken Ingredients
2/3 Skinless Chicken Breasts.
1 Packet of Taco Seasoning.
1 Jar Chunky Salsa
1 Cup Chopped Mishrooms
1 & 1/2 Cups Shredded Cheese
Sour Cream and Spring Onions for garnishing.
Salsa Chicken Preparation
Preheat oven to 190*C.
Cut chicken breasts in half length wise.
Lay out in a baking pan and sprinkle half the taco seasoning on chicken, turn the breast over and sprinkle remaining seasoning. Try to coat both sides evenly.
Add the mushrooms to the baking pan.
Then pour salsa over the top of chicken/mushrooms.
Bake for 25 to 30 mins until juices are clear.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the chicken. Place back in oven until cheese melts.
We served our chicken on a base of buttered noodles. Garnish with Sour Cream and Spring Onions.
